The Mom here! When I heard about ten year old baker/business kid Justin James, How long have you been baking? I’ve been baking for about 2 years. I started out cooking and now I enjoy doing both. What is your earliest memory of having a love for baking? My Aunt Jennifer bakes specialty cakes and she had me come over to her house and we baked Chocolate Cupcakes together and she showed me how to make buttercream icing for the first time. What is your favorite thing to bake? My favorite thing to bake is cupcakes. Do you have any other hobbies? I’m a Cub Scout with Pack 106 in Valley Stream. I also enjoy swimming and riding my bike. How did you learn how to bake? I learned to bake mostly by watching cooking shows on tv, you tube cooking videos and just experimenting with my mom in the kitchen. Is it only baking you do, or can you cook other things? I can bake and cook foods. I sometimes make breakfast and dinner for my family. I enjoy trying out new recipes when cooking. My favorite thing to cook is seafood. Who thought of your name, JussBaked? My dad came up with the name JussBaked. What is your career goal for your future? I want to be a head chef and police officer. Is there anything you DON’T like about baking? No, I love everything about baking! What are some baking or decorating tips you can share with our kid readers? You must follow directions if you’re using a recipe to bake. Also, when decorating you have to have patience. The Mom here again! Wave loved meeting Justin and his family and decorating cupcakes with him! We think his future is SWEET and sure would add to his list of cupcake customers if we lived a little closer. The Kiditor here! I give his cupcakes 5 out of 5 Red Balloons!! Yum!!!!
