Jacob Burns Film Center in Pleasantville is Hosting a Free Kids Open House Putting Young Local Filmmakers Behind the Lens!
The Mom here! If your kid is an “up and coming Spielberg” and you live in or around Pleasantville, NY, you should definitely check this out. The Jacob Burns Film Center (JBFC) is hosting a free open house. Kids can join current students and participate in hands-on activities and a family-friendly shorts program featuring recent student work and film festival favorites. Families will enjoy watching, animating, and coloring together and celebrating young aspiring filmmakers. Some of the activities will include a 3D modeling station, a stop motion animation station, and drawing station. Wow! A fun way to learn about the film making process on a cold winter’s day….No tickets or registration are required for this free event – just show up and watch your kid’s love of film in action! (Best for kids age 3 – 13)
