Waverly here! I’m sure everyone has heard of Guinness World Records, and I don’t know about you, but it’s a tradition for me to get the new books every time one comes out! I’ve been doing that since about 2010, when I was 2. So I always thought, “What would it be like to actually attempt a Guinness World Record?” Well, it was my turn to try my hand at a record! How did it go? Check this out!

Ok so I can tell you that it was much harder than I thought it would be and I definitely have a new respect for every single Guinness World Record Title/Holder…but like I said in the video, I’m happy just reading about them!  I’m still working on this year’s book – it is literally filled with amazing people doing amazing things! Learn more about the 2020 book

While I was there, I was lucky enough to check out their offices and believe me, they have some really cool artifacts there! All kinds of pictures of amazing records that people have attempted and succeeded at doing:

Awesome life size pictures of guys like this so you can see how you measure up!

And my mom’s favorite – a Witness Book all the way from South America!

I am really fascinated about “all things Guinness” so I was thrilled to have a chance to sit down with Christine, an Adjudicator for Guinness World Records (she makes sure all the rules are followed during attempts and can certify when official world records are made). Take a look and learn a little about Guinness World Records for yourself!

What I love about Guinness World Records is that it really shows us that there are so many interesting, brave, unique and, of course, awesome, people all over the world who can show us that life does not have to be boring or usual.  If it weren’t for Guinness World Records, how would we know anything about the world’s oldest man? Well, here you go:

Can’t wait to see what happens next and I definitely can’t wait to visit again. Until then, I’ll be practicing my chopstick skills….
